We’re all waiting for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to adopt the Globally Harmonized System into the Hazard Communication Standard. Just yesterday, OSHA submitted the final rule
to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), as required by the Administrative Procedure Act for economically significant regulations. OMB typically takes 30 to 90 days to review a rule, after which it will be released back to OSHA for publication in the Federal Register
(or more changes).
As soon as the final rule is added to the Federal Register, we will be sure to let you know!
